Fashion | 5 Most Worn & Loved Shoes

I wanted to share a little more of my wardrobe on my blog and I thought I'd start that off with one of my most favourite things to buy, which of course is shoes! Here are my  5 most worn pairs of shoes, they're not particularly out there or fancy but they're the shoes that I grab the most!

I always used to wear converse when I was younger and I got back into wearing them at the end of last year. I forgot how easy they are to wear! I do find that I size up in converse as even though I have really narrow feet they rub on the tops of my toes if I get my normal shoe size. These are both the Chuck Taylor High Top converse, the red are canvas and the white ones are leather. I think the pop of red instantly makes your outfit look cool and more put together, so I'm definitely in the market for some more coloured converse!

So when it comes to wearing 'nice shoes' I don't have any pretty shoes which are comfortable to wear so I normally go for these glittery Reebok trainers! They're not very feminine but they're sparkly so I'm happy! If I am wearing a really pretty dress then I'll just wear a flat ballet pump, but they don't offer any support and aren't particularly comfortable.

The other pair of trainers that I regularly wear are my Adidas Superstar trainers with the silver glitter stripes. I spent ages trying to find these after seeing a few people wearing them and after nearly giving up I found them when I went on a random weekend away to Birmingham when I went to Cadbury World. You would have seen these shoes on everyone and their mother but they are comfortable, easy to wear and literally match every outfit!

Then finally I have my most worn boot which to be honest probably isn't even worn that much in the grand scheme of things (or compared to the other 4 shoes) but here are my Mango gold mid-heel boots. I really wanted a pair of low heel ankle boots and was very happy to find these beauties! I wear them mainly with mom jeans, so in quite a casual way. They are really comfortable, although a tiny wide for my thin feet so double socks all the way!

There we are! I hope you enjoyed having a little look at my most worn shoes and are feeling inspired for your next shoe purchase!

Fashion | 70's Inspired OOTD \ Monki|Topshop|Primark|Converse|Pull&Bear|Ralph Lauren

Hey! Today I have for you another OOTD and this time I was channeling the 70s, a decade of fashion which I think I am best suited to!

Top - Monki
Jeans - Indigo Flared Jaimie Jeans Topshop LINK
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - Converse
Bag - Ralph Lauren
Earrings - Pull & Bear

I really love this outfit and I am now completely obsessed with flares, why didn't I wear these beforehand. These particular Jaimie flares from Topshop are so comfortable and really flattering, I bought them in the Indigo wash which is a true 70's blue denim but they're also available in a light blue wash, black and white. As I was just off for a walk around the country side I wanted a casual look so teamed it with this amazingly bright Monki top, they now only have it with short sleeves. I nicked my boyfriends camel coloured corduroy jacket from Primark as the colour worked well and 70's and corduroy is a match made in heaven! I used my little Ralph Lauren cross body bag and finally braided the front of my hair and pinned it back and popped my big hoops in!

It's an easy jeans and a T-shirt look but the flares make it oh so fancy!

Are you a fan of flares? Send me links to your flares OOTD's

Fashion | 90's inspired OOTD \\ Topshop|Monki|Pull&Bear|Converse

I've been trying to make an effort to wear more of my clothes in my wardrobe and mix and match items, so I thought it was about time I brought back some OOTD's !

T-Shirt - Monki
Jumpsuit - Topshop
Shoes - Converse
Earrings - Pull & Bear
Socks - Topshop
Jacket - Pull & Bear

It's think this outfit screams casual 90's and I felt very comfortable wearing this for a day out with a friend. I've had this jumpsuit since last Summer and I wore it with turtle necks underneath throughout the Winter. This Monki T-shirt is so easy to wear and the placement of 'Art Babe' works well with pinafores and dungarees. The red jacket is from the mens section of Pull and Bear and is perfect for in-between weather and quickly brightens an outfit and makes an average jeans and a T-shirt look more interesting and put together. I am also loving wearing bigger hoop earrings, I've never been brave enough before but these Pull & Bear ones are so light that I forget I'm wearing them and they bring the outfit together.

What do you think of it?!

Fashion | Lisa Angel Lovely Gifts and Accessories*

I came across Lisa Angel at the start of this year and I am now obsessed with it! Think Not On The High Street but completely and utterly Instagram-mable, I have now got an embarrassingly long wish list of Jewellery and homeware from Lisa Angel and it's the first place I go to look for gifts for others and treats for myself! They have a fantastic array of modern and interesting decorative things for your home and minimalist accessories for yourself (they also offer a personalisation service on a lot of their products), trust me when you go and check their website out you'll love their things just as much as me and your virtual basket will be overflowing!

Delicate Octagonal Hoop Earrings in Silver £12 LINK

Recently I've been getting a little bit more adventurous with the jewellery I wear, so I was very happy to receive these beautiful octagonal hoops. They are made from a high quality silver plated metal and for someone who has highly sensitive skin and normally only wears sterling silver earrings to prevent allergic reactions, I can honestly say I've had no issues with wearing these earrings.

The hoops are 45mm x 45mm and roughly the size of my entire ear but as they're so delicate and thin they don't look oversized. They definitely make a statement and look really lovely with half of your hair pinned up, so the entire shape can be seen.

As someone who isn't used to wearing big feature earrings I was surprised by how easy it was to put them on, they hook into place directly behind the lobe which is discreet and creates a slick finish. They are incredibly light and you quickly forget you're even wearing them, until you get a compliment on how fabulous your hoops are and where did you get them from?!

Make sure to go and check out Lisa Angel HERE, they offer free worldwide delivery with no minimum spend, they also currently have an introductory 10% off if you sign up to their newsletter and if you type WELCOME18, before 31/06/18 you'll get 15% off your purchase when you spend £20.

They do also have two stores in Norwich, which makes me very jealous of anyone able to visit them, please come to London Lisa Angel!

I hope you enjoyed this post and that we can now bond over our love for Lisa Angel's beautiful things!

Fashion | Valentines OOTD Ideas - Casual/Smart/Sporty

I love styling outfits and what better reason to put together a cute look than for a date on Valentines day! Here are a few ideas of looks you could go for, I hope you get some inspiration and can replicate these styles with your wardrobe.

Casual Day Date
Skirt LINK £30 | Earrings LINK £10 | Boots LINK £19.99 | Top LINK £18.00 | Belt LINK £10.00 | Jacket LINK £95 | Bag LINK £22 |

A casual day date calls for comfort but you want to feel confident and stylish. This high waist midi denim skirt will elongate your legs, give you the feeling of wearing a pretty skirt and the comfort of wearing a pair of trusty jeans = a match made in heaven. Wear a Valentines appropriate T-shirt for a fun conversation starter and then have the colour red going through your outfit via your bag and coat. Match the hardware on your bag to a pair of trendy heeled boots, earrings and the buckle of your belt - which will also draw attention to your waist - and you're ready for the best day date ever!

Drinks After Work
Dress LINK £49 | Shoes LINK £65 | Jacket LINK £90 | Earrings LINK £6 | Bracelet LINK £130 | Bag LINK £102 |

So you're meeting straight after work and you'll definitely not have time to change, apart from maybe slipping off your sensible black tights and swapping them for bare legs or skin colour tights! This dress is chic for the office, yet the print and cut is fun and flirty for drinks. Pair it with a black bag and modern black heels and accessorise with silver jewellery. Make the outfit pop with an edgy suede purple biker jacket to add your personality and take the outfit straight from the boardroom into the bar!

Active / Sporty Date

Jumpsuit LINK £65 |  Converse LINK £55 | Puma Bomber Jacket LINK £430 | Earrings LINK £15 | Rucksack LINK £120 |

For an activity based date you're going to need to wear something you're comfortable in. This jumpsuit is fashionable, elegant and also manages to be loose enough to move about in for a sporty date, obviously if you're date involves actually going for a run (firstly, why?) just wear gym gear but if it's a little activity which could possibly lend itself nicely to a drink after, then this would work wonders. Team it with a sport brand cropped bomber jacket which will highlight your waist and add a bright rucksack and sporty shoes. Accessorise the look with small hoops which are practical for sport but add a little olalla to your look.

There we are! I hope you enjoyed these three outfit ideas for Valentines dates and that they've helped you decide on what to wear?

Fashion | 10 ITEMS Collective Haul - PINK, Jack Wills, Desigual & Primark

I have bought and been gifted a few new clothing bits and bobs recently and thought I'd bung them all together and write a little collective haul post. I hope you enjoy and like seeing what's been catching my eye recently. As some of the things were gifts I am unsure about prices and links etc but where I can I've included details for you to be able to find them.

 Victoria Secret PINK - $44.99

My dad bought me this in America and I am very excited to add this new 'dog walking fleece' to my wardrobe! I spotted this around Christmas time on the Victoria Secret PINK website and absolutely love it! I don't live in the country side, I don't own Hunter wellies nor do I even have a dog but I have a thing for big fluffy fleeces which would be perfect for those three things! It's just so comfortable and warm and I love the subtle grey and cream design.

 Jack Wills Trench Coat

My boyfriend bought me this ammaazzing bright pink trench coat for my birthday and it's what coat dreams are made of! I have been wanting a light weight coat for ages as I only have really thick winter puff jackets and then really summery denim jackets. This is really just very beautiful, it's double breasted and also has the addition of being able to do up tightly at the top if it's a bit colder.

 Desigual - £33

My mummy treated me to this really fun sweatshirt and I love it! I am not usually a Desigual fan as it's all very loud and colourful. However, I love this as mainly it's plain and the textures of the letters are really interesting. It's a slouchy fit and looks great layered over shirts and tops with interesting high necklines.

 Adidas Baseball Cap - £12.49 - LINK

I am huge fan of the sporty trend and I was in the market for a new baseball cap so decided to pick up this pink Adidas cap. It's great for bad hair days and also when the sun is actually out! I'd definitely like to invest in a navy one for the winter.

 Primark Top - £10

It's Primark time... I picked up this floaty blouse as I am huge fan of unnecessary flouncy sleeves, smocking and wild flowers! I shall be wearing this with skinny jeans in white or blue as the top is already quite fussy. I think Primark prices have dramatically increased as spending £10 on one top shocked me a lot!

Primark Stretch Vest Tops - £1.80 each

The above blouse is completely see through and I don't own any light coloured vests so I decided to pick up two which I can wear underneath. I chose this pretty lilac shade and then a nude shade, both make the top look slightly different when worn underneath. They are so reasonable priced and really soft and I am sure I'll wear them with different outfits too.

Primark Fish Net Socks - £1 each

Last but not least I picked up three pairs of fish net socks. I love wearing these with trainers and making my outfit look a bit edgier. I previously could only find these in Topshop for a lot more money so I am very happy that Primark has jumped onto this bandwagon. I picked them up in mint green, lilac and a blue/purple. They also had pink, black and white.

So there's all of my new fashion bits! I hope you enjoyed this haul and having a sneaky peaky at the new things in my wardrobe!

Fashion | London Fashion Showcase With A Story To Tell #LFSAW - AD

At the start of London Fashion week I was very kindly invited to the Gibraltar Embassy to view the creations of four exciting emerging fashion designers. This intimate fashion presentation transformed the embassy into a luxurious gallery, allowing us a sneak peak into the imaginations of each designer. Whilst sipping on champagne and tasting the canapes, we had the opportunity to meet each designer and chat to them about their creations and the inspiration behind their designs.

I thought as Valentines Day is just around the corner I should write a themed post! I have created three looks for your potential Valentines dates or just some cute outfit ideas for any of your upcoming arrangements, you social butterfly you....
Denim Belted Dress - LINK -£55 | Asos Reneta Leather Western Chelsea Boots - LINK - £55 | Juicy Couture mini Backpack -LINK - £189 | Cluse La Roche Rose Gold & Black Marble Watch - LINK - £139

This is a great look for a causal coffee date, denim always makes an effortlessly cool look and it's super comfy to wear. The trick here is to not over do it with accessories, so keep it simple with an on-trend watch, a small rucksack and killer minimalist boots. You'll look fashionable without looking like you planned your outfit last Valentines!

Faux Fur T-Shirt - LINK -£12.99 | Adidas Red Suede Gazelle Trainers - LINK - £75 | Love Moschino Heart Bag - LINK - £130

You know when you really fancy someone but your social anxiety has hit the roof and to put it concisely you're bricking it. Well let your outfit do the talking girl... if they still don't get the hint then you can subtly use your outfit as a conversation starter.... This is also a really fun, out there outfit for a day of walking about!
Rose Skater Dress - LINK - £36 | Asos Andele Leather Chelsea Boots - LINK - £48 | Love Moschino Bag - LINK - £90 | Silver Heart Earrings - LINK - £8

Last but not least, here is a smarter look for a supper date. A pretty skater style dress is really flattering and this one is super practical for this cold weather, whilst also looking very seasonal and pretty. Wear it with some thick black tights and Chelsea boots, the stud on this pair toughen up the look a little. Keep your jewellery to the minimum with these small heart hoops and also ensure all your hardware is silver, to match the studs on the shoes.

There we are! I hope you enjoyed this post and have a few outfit ideas! I love making these posts as it's so much fun looking through all the websites and seeing what's new!

Fashion | Bespoke Niamh Stowe Skirt ~ outfit ideas

What's better than going out in an outfit, feeling fabulous and knowing no one else will be wearing it?! Nothing! So let me introduce you to my beautiful bespoke skirt and the wonderfully talented girl who made it for me!

In March 2012 I attended Julian Roberts pattern cutting workshop, as part of Bath in Fashion week. It took me by no surprise that the anticipation of going to a new sewing class by myself was making me incredibly nervous, I even remember a few points in the day dramatically declaring I wouldn't go! However, when I arrived at the assembly hall for the first part of the day, a lecture from Roberts about his studies, I plonked myself next to another girl who had also come alone.

5 years later, a little confusion as to if her name was Eve, Niamh of even pronounced Niamha, a lot of exhibition visits, many walks around Anthropologie, an introduction to the delicious world of macaroons and visits to both of our university's and home towns, I have indeed made a good friend in her!

Niamh studied BA(Hons) in Fashion Design at Bath Spa University and specialised in womenswear pattern cutting. Her Celtic Luminance Spring/Summer 2017 collection was chosen to be shown in the London Graduate Fashion Week 2016. I went along to see the show and her collection really did stand out from the crowd, it was incredibly sophisticated with flattering feminine silhouettes, whilst drawing on influences from the Edwardian era.

For my 21st birthday Niamh surprised me by letting me choose any item from her collection to be made especially for me, be her! Her entire collection was in white and most of it was made from leather, so the first step was for me to choose the type and colour of the leather and as you can see I chose a wine red textured leather, as I thought this would be a great colour to wear throughout Summer to Autumn!

It's such a beautiful skirt and it fits wonderfully, thanks to Niamh's sewing skills! My favourite part has to be the extra special touch of having a 'Niamh Stowe' label inside.

Summer Outfit Idea

In the Summer I think the skirt would look beautiful with a skin tone slip underneath and then worn with a simple cream top, such as this frilly number from Topshop. A pair of understated nude heels, like this pair from Primark, would make sure all the attention was just going to the skirt. I'd also wear my favourite Autograph nail varnish in Marsala.

It's time to follow Niamh (online only please) and check out her wonderful collection and all her other work!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I am sure you'll love her work as much as I do so click the links above and have a sneaky look!
