Day out in Cambridge

 

Hello everyone ! I completely forgot to show you pictures from my day out in Cambridge. I skipped straight to what I bought which you can see in my purse review post 'here'.

 

 

I went to Cambridge with my mummy to visit my brother and it was a really lovely day ! We checked the weather forecast and it had promised rain from 12pm-8pm which was the exact amount of time we were there for, typical, so I layered up to make sure I'd be warm for the day. When we arrived the sun was out and so was everyone's bare limbs. It was so hot, so we went punting and had a mooch around the shops. My brother and me had seriously bad hay fever which made being outside a bit harder as we were sneezing for what seemed forever ! It was a really nice day though, so onto some pictures.....

Mummy and me reluctantly balanced at the end to have a go at punting. It was seriously scary and we did witness one girl fall in ! The actual pole is really heavy so my brother did most of the hard work whilst I concentrated on smiling for the camera, and keeping my hat from blowing off !

 

 

 

It's a really lovely place to visit, there are two shopping centres, one is a smart one with Topshop, John Lewis, Links of London, Mac, Hollister...... and the other one is a cheaper one (that's called the Grafton) and that has Primark, Next, New Look, The Works etc. That one takes longer to get to, I couldn't give you very good directions but it's through a park ! There are lots of restaurants and cafes to eat in and a market. Most of it is outside so try and go in nice weather, but don't rely on the weather forecast like I did !
