For our week in Disneyland Paris we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge and we both absolutely loved it and I thought if you were wondering what hotel to stay in for your Disney holiday this would be a helpful post! Sequoia Lodge is a mid-range hotel with a 3* rating, it's located on the edge of Lake Disney which means it's a 5 minute walk into Disney Village and a 15 minute walk into the Parks. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus into the parks/train station, which we used when we arrived and left as we had suitcases.
Sequoia Lodge is Bambi themed, which makes for a very relaxing environment. I am a huge Disney fan but I actually really liked the fact that after a day in the park the hotel wasn't too over the top with theming and I could have some time to relax in a calming hotel.
Sequoia Lodge has everything you could need from a hotel, it even has a decent sized shop which sells a lot of the things you can get in the park. It also has an indoor and outdoor pool, which has a slide. A snack/drink bar (where you can get the infamous glowtinis and many other adult and child friendly cocktails), two buffet restaurants and a few arcade style games. A huge bonus is from 8:15am you can go to character meet and greets and the character changed daily and of course the fact you get extra magic hours in the park!
As part of the deal we had we got upgraded to the Golden Forest Lounge which was definitely worth it as it includes some fab perks. The first one being that you're guaranteed a room in the main building, we were also lucky enough to have a Lake side view room which meant we could see the Castle and Star Wars (Tower of Terror) fireworks shows. The other perks are;
Private Check in and Check out which means no queues in the hotel!
Private lounge for Breakfast, unlimited drinks until 10pm and snacks 4pm-6pm
Fast pass per person per day ( and if you don't use it you can get the date changed)
A fridge in your room
Kettle and Coffee machine in your room for all of your caffeine needs!
Being part of the Golden Forest Lounge felt like a lovely luxury as we had a quiet lounge to relax in (which came in really handy on check out day as we had to vacate our room at 11am), we saved a lot of money as we didn't buy any drinks in the park and we only bought a few snacks as we knew we'd get snack time at 4pm!
A Glimpse into the room
Two double beds - The bedding may look plain but up close there is a subtle Mickey Mouse print!
TV with English channels (woo), including the Disney Channel and world news. Coffee machines and Kettle and plenty of storage.
A Disney collectors bottle of Coke on a little desk which has a mirror.
The sink and mirror is just outside the bathroom and this had fantastic lighting to do makeup! There was also a hairdryer provided and the fridge was in a cupboard underneath.
A lovely big bath!
Mickey Mouse toiletries, which they actually only replaced twice which we were a bit miffed at!

Opposite the sink was an open wardrobe with a safe.
We both really liked the room, it was clean and a really good size! We could have done with a few more plug sockets as I found I had to unplug the lamps to be able to charge things. We'd also have liked if the little toiletries had been replenished more frequently :) The staff on a whole were friendly and helpful, we did come across a few who were missing the Disney magic which was a shame, but we found this in the park as well as the hotel!
There we are! There is a little look into Sequoia Lodge hotel and our room, I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful if you were still deciding where to stay for your DisneyLand Paris holiday!
KEEP SMILING
