The last post up from my holiday in Edinburgh and we are sure ending it with a high! Becky and I came across this little gem when we wondered down a pretty street called Victoria Street. I'd definitely purposely head back here when I'm back in Edinburgh.
The actual building is just so cute and really stands out from the old dark brick building! It makes me feel like I've gone back in time to the simpler days!
Mary's Milk Bar is an ice cream parlour, they also serve hot and cold drinks. They had some interesting flavours to try, so of course I played it safe with chocolate! All the Ice Cream is hand made every morning at 11am, so the flavours change daily. Edinburgh is the last place I'd expect to find an ice cream parlour but it really wasn't as cold as everyone said!
They had the cutest tote bags and different chocolates and gift sets on sale. Mary is actually a chocolatier and trained at the Carpigiani Gelato University in Italy. Yes a legit university where you graduate as an Ice Cream maker, wish I had known about this 3 years back....
We both ordered one scoop of ice cream and its was only £2 and we got given more like 2 and a bit scoops!!! It was really lovely Ice cream, as I said I had chocolate and I think Becky had white chocolate.
