Ark Age Aware Skincare*

I am so excited to tell you all about Ark age aware skincare who sent me an amazing selection of things to try out. What I love about Ark is that they have ranges which are specifically made to target different ages as they understand that skin needs different help throughout our lives. I am 17 and have been sent things from their age prepare range which is for teens to early 30s. Next they have age maintain which is mid 30s to 50s and last but not least age repair which is 50s and beyond. Each range is targeting what is happening to our skin throughout the years.

I was so excited when I received the parcel in the post and it's really lovely how much effort they put in to packaging. Everything came in this bag, there was a swing ticket attached which had my name on and then inside I had a selection of goodies to test out. Also the packaging for the bottles are really smart and stylish, it's lovely to have a teenage range which looks grown up.

 

 Age Prepare skin clear cleanser 200ml- £22*

The first thing I tried out was this skin clear cleanser, and man do I want clear skin!!! I felt most confident about trying this product as I use a cleanser normally, so it comes out looking like a gel but when you wet your hands it produces a cream foam. This lather is unlike any other foam I know, it smells amazing - really hard to explain what the smell is but it has white tea and just smells clean, fresh and calming. It's also incredible smooth to apply. It's just perfect - non-drying and non-greasy.

 Age Prepare Skin Purifying masque 75ml- £25*

The next thing is this skin purifying masque, I've never used a masque before as I have sensitive skin and was sure I'd be allergic to something, but after using the amazing cleanser I knew this would be perfect too! I love the texture of this silky smooth masque and it felt relaxing to leave on. It's fantastic if you have combination or oily skin as it absorbs the oil leaving yourself with a near matte finish. I chose to only use this at night as I don't have time to leave it on for 10minutes in the morning but I don't think you need to use this everyday like the cleanser.

If you felt you needed the masque to be intensified then you can add a few drops of their serum.

As well as those two full size products I got sent four samples which were a great way to try out some of their other products. I received samples of the above and then also the exfoliator and moisturiser. I don't normally use exfoliators as I find them too rough for my skin so I actually only tested this on my hand because I don't want to mess up all the good work which the other two products have done ! It shows that everyone has different skin types and different products are going to give diverse results. So anyway back to the exfoliator - it's the same yummy smell and it's not as gritty as others I've tried. It rubbed into my skin quickly and removed dead skin and left my hand feeling super soft. Last but not least I tried the moisturiser, the moisturiser felt slightly like wax but it was amazing to use. It melted into my skin quickly and was not sticky which is fantastic.

I definitely recommend that you head over to Ark age aware skincare and treat yourself to something! Even though the products are quite expensive I think because of the quality and the length of time they will last you'd be missing out if you didn't make a purchase!!
