The Baking Trend - Introducing new talent

Baking has become incredibly fashionable over the last couple of years, fairy cakes turned into the American cupcakes with intricate icing and over the top decorations taking centre stage. They were the 'in thing' to grab as a snack and people were even meeting for a cupcake instead of a drink, one of the most popular destinations was, and still is, Lola’s cupcakes in Selfridges and Topshop ! Baking programmes have also hit prime time T.V, especially 'The Great British Bake Off' which saw Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry judge the best of the bakers, with outrageously hard tasks! The talent on that programme is incredibly high and I now introduce to you one of my friends, Cecilia, who is an amazing baker and has actually applied for next year’s bake off (fingers crossed for her).
