Yesterday I had a wonderful day thanks to the lovely Niamh from Niamh-makes-things !!! We met up in london as we both live in different places and booked to go to the Ballgown Exhibtion at the V&A which was really great ! Pictures couldn't be taken in the Exhibtion which was a shame but they do have the Fashion Hall around it which is always there and free to access, so we both took some pictures there ! Niamh has a really proffessional camera and I have a ickle digital pink thing so we looked like two Tourists snapping away !
I took a lot of pictures in the V&A but I have just chosen my two favourite garments;
Very Jane Austen(eny) Walking Dress 1817-20
Evening Dress Pierre Balman 1957 and Shoes Dior 1958-60
Niamh and I :)
The Cafe attached to Harrods had the most amazing selection of Macaroons !!! You could literally get any flavour, there was even a Marshmallow one !
Yummy !!! Mine are the brown coloured ones which are Coffee and Caramel and Salt and Niamh had Vanilla and Rasberry !
Before we went home ( :'( ) we went back to the V&A and they had these spinning top chairs which you kind of went round 360. They are not as easy as they look ! I couldnt get mine to move at all and Niamhs chair was out of control and spinning everywhere !!!! They were a lot of fun though :)
I had a fantastic day and Thanks Niamh for making it so much fun !!!
Looks like a really fun day! I love the V&A and Harrods and i really want to see that ball gown exhibition but i don't think i'm going to London any time soon :( xo
